About me

Avukat (Türkei) Sermin Güneş Keçeci — career, bar admissions and approach.

Avukat (Türkei) Sermin Güneş Keçeci

In 2016 I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Dokuz Eylül University in İzmir.

After completing my legal traineeship (staj) at the İzmir Bar, I was admitted to practise on 30 January 2018. In the same year I founded the law firm Güneş Hukuk Bürosu in İzmir and have practised independently as an Avukat ever since.

Throughout my career I have worked in many areas of private and public law, in particular family, criminal, inheritance, real estate, employment, enforcement, compensation and contract law.

On 31 October 2024 I was admitted to the Rechtsanwaltskammer Düsseldorf under § 206 BRAO. Since then, working from Düsseldorf, I have mainly advised people living outside Türkiye on their legal matters in Türkiye and on cases with an international element under Turkish law.

My work is guided by legal diligence, the protection of my clients’ rights, open communication and the assessment of each case in light of its particular circumstances.
